As a benefice we believe in making everyone of all ages welcome to our services.
We also recognise that those families with Children may appreciate worshiping together where the services are a little more informal, where a bit more noise and running around is OK (and even expected) and where you can enjoy being who you are, in a friendly and welcoming environment – we therefore would love to see you at either our Family Service or Messy Church:
family@polstead and NEW for 2019 family@nayland
Our special service where all the family come together for a short, fun and often craft filled service in Polstead Church – we meet at 10am every 3rd Sunday of the Month, and the service ends with everyone enjoying refreshments.
NEW for 2019 and following its popularity in Polstead, we are very pleased to be introducing family@nayland a similar special service but in Nayland Church !- we will meet at 10am whenever there is a 5th Sunday of the Month, with our next one being on Sunday 30th June 2019
Is a fun place for Adults and Children come together as a church, sharing in crafts, stories, music and food, to learn more about Jesus through creativity, hospitality and celebration.
We meet from 4pm to 6pm on the Last Sunday of the Month, usually in Stoke by Nayland Church (or in the Village Hall in the winter months!), but sometimes we go ‘on tour’ to Nayland Church or to Leavenheath.
Our next Messy Church is on
Sunday 30th June 2019 in St Mary’s Church, Stoke (and includes our Annual Messy Church BBQ!)
“Once, the Hall of Memory in the City of Ancora was filled with wonderful story-treasures, each a reminder of one of the great stories of the Saga. Now, many of those objects have been lost. Each day of the club, the task of the Guardian Children will be to find a lost story-treasure, return it to the Hall of Memory and explore the story that it represents. As the Hall fills up, the Guardian Children will discover how each story fits together to reveal more about who Jesus is and how they might develop their own relationship with him”
Thank you to everyone who took part and had a lot of fun!
