This is a Foundation Level training which is the next one up from Basic Level.  It is mandatory for Churchwardens and PCC members or anyone working with young people or vulnerable adults. Many people will have completed this online, but this is an opportunity for anyone to have face-to-face training.  Contact Jane Addis to book a place (01787 210834) or Open to all our parishioners.  Smaller group training of up to six people can also be arranged.
Friends of St Matthew’s are still on the look-out for a few more flower arrangements on the theme ‘My Suffolk’ for the Flower Festival in St Matthew’s Church on 10 and 11 September, to coincide with the ‘Ride & Stride’. We would be delighted to hear from you if you are willing to supply a flower arrangement or if you might like to sponsor one! Please contact Jane Gurden on 07909 875892. There will be a competition (with small prizes) for children, with all the materials provided in the church so that they can make an imaginative arrangement of their own and leave it on display for all to see. Please save the date!.
