This week we have four in person services; 8am Holy Communion at Nayland, 10am Holy Communion at Polstead, 10am Morning Prayer at Wiston, and 6:30pm Evensong at Stoke.
We are asking everyone to continue to observe social distancing. The churchwardens and ministry team have agreed that in the two larger churches of Stoke and Wiston, one side of the aisle will be for people with masks and the other for non mask wearers, if required. In the smaller churches of Wiston, Leavenheath and Polstead we are encouraging the continued use of masks by everyone; it is still a matter of choice and consideration for others in all the churches. We will be reviewing these issues again at the September Churchwardens/ministry team meeting so if you have any views about these, please let your churchwardens know. Sanitising gel will still be provided and we recommend its use until further notice.
This week’s online service is First Sunday.

Community pantry & Financial Assistance Fund
Thank you for all the items generously donated to the community pantry. Currently, we do not need any more pasta, tinned tomatoes or beans. But we do need fresh veg and fruit, long-life milk, butter, cereal, tea and instant coffee, toiletries, household cleaning stuff and tinned steak, mince, curry etc. Please keep spreading the word that this is a resource for anyone in our villages, whether their need is occasional or regular. There is also a fund for those in need of financial assistance, perhaps with school uniforms and shoes, essential or unexpected bills. Please do feel free to contact Rev Val Armstrong who can assist you in complete confidentiality, Tel: 01206262812 Email: mrsvarmstrong@hotmail.com It is also possible to have a delivery arranged for those unable to get to the Community Pantry in Nayland, again please contact Rev Val about this.
